This is the official logo of the Centenary of the First World War, selected by the Presidency of the Council of Ministers through a call for ideas; it symbolically expresses the identity link between all the activities scheduled on the occasion of the commemorations.
 
Devoted to a universal target, from pupils at the beginning of their studies on the Italian history, to older generations, to foreign nationals, the logo can be granted to all the initiatives with an acknowledged cultural value and closely related to the subject of commemorations, autonomously promoted by public and private subjects.
