The “Task Force for the anniversaries of national interest” was established within the Presidency of the Council of Ministers through a Decree of the President of the Council of Ministers on 14th December 2012 under the name of “Task Force for the Commemoration of the Centenary of the First World War”.
The Task Force:

  • Ensures the necessary fulfilments for the implementation of the programme and of the activities linked to the commemorations of the centenary of the First World War, as defined by the ad hoc interministerial committee.
  • Deals with the communication and promotion activities related to the commemorations;
  • May act as a contracting authority and in any case provide technical-operational support during the implementation of the programme and of the interventions linked to commemorations and celebrations.

 
 
The Task Force is in office until the end of the Government mandate.
